Happy New Year

Updated: Feb 26, 2023

There are a number of different messages swarming around us at this time of the year. There’s the ever popular “new year, new you.” And then there’s “start the year out strong!” The ones I like more are the ones encouraging us to “take time to look back before moving forward,” but there are still so many of them out there, too.

Rather than adding to the numerous and varied “New Year” messages, I’m instead inviting you to re-read a guest blog post that was first published this past fall. My dear friend and mentor, Richele Walker, wrote this truly remarkable post entitled Rest Well. It’s one I’ve returned to more than once since I first read it. It’s full of really great nuggets, and a different one pops out at me each time I read it.

Whichever route you take this year - going strong or first taking stock of the past year - do what is best for you. Each of us is on a unique journey specifically designed for one. No one person’s journey can or should look like any other person’s journey. Whatever is most helpful and most healing for you is for you. Do that!

If you think it would be helpful to have another person's perspective as you process the past year or approach the new year, I’d love to do that with you! Please feel free to send me an email or schedule some one-on-one time with me. And consider subscribing to my blog, where I post lots of helpful suggestions on how you can begin (and continue) this journey of recovering your blueprint!
